Proud Sponsors of TB Triathlon 2026
I am incredibly proud to announce that RK Marketing is an official 2026 sponsor of TB Triathlon. It’s a bit of a pinch myself moment really.
This partnership is a significant milestone! I have been alongside Tom since the beginning; we both embarked on the journey of launching our own businesses at similar times. Tom is my running coach and my friend and watching TB Triathlon evolve from a small group in our home town of Stafford into a globally recognised team of over 150 athletes has been inspiring.
Why TB Triathlon? The Alignment of Values
I believe that high-level marketing requires the same “no-nonsense” discipline as endurance sport.
- High energy, focused planning: Just as you can’t finish a triathlon or a marathon without a structured training block, you can’t grow a business without a strategic roadmap.
- The numbers don’t lie: In running, your pace is your truth. In marketing, your data is your truth. We do not “fluff” we focus on real, honest results.
- Resilience and consistency: It’s about showing up when it’s hard, learning from the “bad runs,” and championing the people around you.
- It is real: In a world where we are forgiven for not knowing what is real and what is fake – the endurance sport community is authentic, raw and honest.
I believe that high-level marketing requires the same “no-nonsense” discipline as endurance sport..
TB Triathlon has turned a solo sport into a thriving community that uplifts every member. That is exactly the energy I bring to RK Marketing. We wear the 2026 kit with pride, knowing we are part of a team that celebrates the journey as much as the finish line.
The Journey Behind the Miles: Why I Run
If you’d like to know a little more about my personal journey and why this sport means so much to me, read on.
My love for running started on the streets of London, watching my Dad take on the Marathon year after year. I promised him that one day, I’d be there with him. That day came in 2012. I signed up to run for Cure Leukaemia in honour of a young boy fighting a battle no child should ever face. I never got to meet him, but I still to this day think about him every time I lace up my trainers. This period of my life is one I will cherish forever and a time where I changed as a person.
In 2021, my relationship with running changed. After I watched my own child fight for his life, running became my way of coping and paying a “debt to the universe.” I ran to raise funds for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Stoke Hospital where a team of heroes saved his life. It was during this period that I turned to Tom to train me and I have never looked back.
Most recently, I completed the 2025 London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK. To date, I have raised nearly £20,000 for charity. Through Tom I have found a team I couldn’t be without, a community I cherish.
